Pop star Kim Petras offered New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani a private copy of her new album if he agrees to ban horse-drawn carriages from Central Park.
On Monday, the New York City mayor-elect shared his admiration for Petras in an interview, prompting the pop star to propose giving him a private copy of her yet-to-be-released album in exchange for banning horse-drawn carriages in Central Park.
In the interview, Mamdani revealed that he enjoys listening to Petra's music, including her track "I Like Your Look," as part of his morning playlist.
In response, Petras shared the screenshot of Mamdani's comments and posted, "Zohran Mamdani, I am willing to privately send you my new album if we can get the horse carriages banned from Central Park."
