Avicii's hit song "Wake Me Up" has surpassed three billion streams on Spotify.
Released as the lead single from the late Swedish DJ and record producer's debut studio album True in 2013, "Wake Me Up" received critical and commercial success worldwide.
"Wake Me Up" had been named as the highest charting dance track of the 2010s.
The single peaked at No. 1 in 22 countries. The song is also the most searched on the Apple-owned music identifying app Shazam with more than 23 million.
"Wake Me Up" marked Avicii's seventh song to surpass one billion streams. The others are "Waiting for Love," "Without Love" featuring Sandro Cavazza, "Hey Brother," "Levels Radio Edit", and "The Nights."
