The Malaysia stock market on Tuesday ended the four-day winning streak in which it had climbed almost 20 points or 1.1 percent. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just beneath the 1,755-point plateau although it figures to bounce higher again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is cautiously optimistic, with technology shares likely to lead the markets higher. The European markets were mixed and flat and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
