Malaysia Bourse May Test Support At 1,700 Points

The Malaysia stock market on Thursday ended the two-day winning streak in which it had collected more than 30 points or 2 percent. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index now sits just above the 1,720-point plateau and it may take further damage on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is weak on concerns over the Middle East conflict, although easing oil prices may limit the downside. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
