Romania Jobless Rate Remains Stable At 6.0%

Romania's unemployment rate held steady in February after falling in the previous two months, preliminary data from the National Institute of Statistics showed on Wednesday.

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate came in at 6.0 percent in February, the same as in the previous month. In the corresponding month last year, the unemployment rate was 6.1 percent.

There were 494,678 unemployed people in February compared to 490,542 in January. A year ago, it was 501,477.
