Estée Lauder Shares Fall 5% After Announcing Partnership With WPP And Restructuring Plans

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (EL) shares fell 4.80 percent, down $3.39 to $67.32 on Thursday, after the company's announcement on global media partnership with WPP and ongoing restructuring efforts under its Profit Recovery and Growth Plan.

The stock is currently trading at $67.32, below its previous close of $70.71, after opening at $68.31 on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares traded in a range of $66.22 to $69.49 during the session, with volume reaching 3.09 million shares, compared with average daily volume of 4.75 million.

Estée Lauder's 52-week range is $48.37 to $121.64.
