Gorillaz have announced shows in India, marking the virtual band's first-ever performances in the country in their 25-year career. The two-city run is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru and Mumbai in January 2027.
Gorillaz, created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, will play District Arena @ Terraform in Bengaluru on January 23, followed by a Mumbai date at Jio World Garden, BKC on January 27. Tickets are on sale now.
The Indian leg follows the release of The Mountain, the band's ninth studio album.
Special guest performers are expected to appear at the two concerts, most notably a handful of the many Indian collaborators who feature on The Mountain.
