Singapore Shares May Bounce Higher On Friday

The Singapore stock market on Thursday ended the two-day wining streak in which it had improved almost 40 points or 0.8 percent. The Straits Times Index now rests just beneath the 5,010-point plateau although it may rebound on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is cautiously optimistic on hopes for an end to hostilities in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were mostly higher and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
