Coachella announced earlier this week that Grammy-winning artist Kacey Musgraves will perform on Saturday (April 18) as part of the festival's second weekend.

Musgraves will perform during the 3 pm - 3:50 pm time slot on the Mojave stage, where Jack White played during weekend one.

Musgraves teased the Coachella announcement by posting a short video reminiscent of the viral moving artwork on the Fred Waring Bridge in Indio by artist Hervey Garcia.

"Somewhere on the way to ? ?????????????????? ?," she wrote on Instagram in a post cued to her single "Middle of Nowhere" that featured a subtle plug for her upcoming seventh studio album via a flipbook-like image of a bull running on a highway retaining wall, ending with the name of the LP.

Weekend two of Coachella will also feature headlining sets from Anyma, Sabrina Carpenter, Blood Orange, Disclosure and Sexyy Red on Friday night, Justin Bieber, David Byrne, Interpol, Armin van Buuren x Ada Beyer on Saturday and Karol G, BIGBANG, Kaskade and Young Thug on Sunday night.

Musgraves last performed at Coachella in 2019. Performing on the main stage between Mon Laferte and Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, she led the crowd in a particularly hilarious call-and-response of "yee" and "haw," chastising the audience when they shouted back without a prompt.

Ahead of her appearance at Coachella, Musgraves has shared an official lyric video for "Middle Of Nowhere."
