Kanye West has postponed his show in France as the country is considering banning the rapper from entering the country.

"After much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show in Marseille, France until further notice," West, also known as Ye, wrote on X.

Ye was initially scheduled to perform on June 11 at Stade Vélodrome in Marseille as part of his 2026 comeback tour.

He added in a follow-up post, "I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to make amends I take full responsibility for what's mine but I don't want to put my fans in the middle of it My fans are everything to me Looking forward to the next shows See you at the top of the globe."

According to reports, France was looking to potentially ban Ye from performing in the country. Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan and French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez argued that West has no place in the country following his past antisemitic remarks and for releasing a song last year called "Heil Hitler."

Earlier this month, Wireless Festival 2026 was officially canceled after the U.K. Home Office blocked Ye, the festival's headliner, from entering the country.
