Lizzo recently took to Instagram to announce that she will release a new album, B*tch, on June 5th.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!" Lizzo wrote on Instagram, unveiling the project's cheeky artwork. "Wanna get me a gift? Pre-order my album baby!!!!"

The cover shows Lizzo's right hand flipping the bird, but with a miniature version of her standing where the middle finger should be.

Lizzo will be releasing the title track of the album on Friday, May 1.

B*tch, which is Lizzo's third studio album, is her first since the release of Special in 2022. In 2025, she released a mixtape My Face Hurts From Smiling.

"Reclaiming the word 'b—h' is power," Lizzo said in a statement about the new project. "It's taking a label once used to diminish women and turning it into a declaration of confidence and unapologetic self-love."

"So many incredible women in music have used the word for positivity like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliott," she continued. "It was only fitting to name my album Bitch because it has become my favorite word when using it on my own terms, and because I am 100% that b—h!"

Lizzo released the album's lead single "Don't Make Me Love U" on March 20.
