North London rapper Little Simz recently took to social media to announce that she will release a new EP, Sugar Girl, on May 8 via AWAL.
Sugar Girl follows Simz's highly successful 2025 album Lotus, which No. Number 3 in the U.K. and earned nominations at the BRITs, MOBOs and Ivor Novellos.
A black-and-white preview video for the EP shared by Simz on Instagram shows her delivering the song's verses over a booming, electronic instrumental. The tracklist for the record has not yet been revealed.
During her recent gigs, including her performance at London's O2 last October, Simz seemingly hinted at her next era by playing a DJ set midway through the shows.
