Noah Kahan has netted his second U.K. No. 1 album with The Great Divide, securing the biggest first week debut for an international artist so far this year.
The Vermont singer-songwriter's fourth studio set follows 2023's Stick Season to the summit. That record went on to be named one of the U.K.'s biggest albums of 2024 and 2025 and is still showing its staying power on 2026's year-to-date list.
The Great Divide also debuts atop the Official Record Store Chart, as the best-seller of the week in independent U.K. record shops, and the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting the most copies on wax over the past seven days.
Meanwhile, it's a 14th Top 10 LP for Foo Fighters, with their 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy, bowing at No. 2.
Michael Jackson's catalogue has seen a surge following the release of the biopic, Michael, with no less than five of his records landing inside the Top 40.
Brand-new set Michael: Songs from the Motion Picture leads the pack (4), with 2003 compilation Number Ones hot on its heels (5). The original 1982 Thriller release moonwalks 57 places into the Top 10 for the first time in 17 years (8), whilst 1987's Bad is back in the Top 40 for the first time since 2014, vaulting 39 places (13). The Essential Michael Jackson is also present in the standings (14).
