Music superstars Shakira, Madonna and BTS are set to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show, taking place on Sunday, July 19, 2026. This will be the first-ever halftime show in the history of a FIFA World Cup final.
"Madonna, Shakira and BTS are global icons whose music transcends borders and generations, and we are proud to welcome them to the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay," said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The halftime show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a landmark initiative working to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world.
FIFA also announced that throughout the tournament, $1 from every ticket sold to World Cup matches will be donated to the Fund.
The quadrennial international men's soccer tournament will kick off in Mexico City on June 11. It will be jointly hosted by sixteen cities — eleven in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada. The tournament will be the first FIFA World Cup to be hosted by three nations, and the first to include 48 teams, an expansion from 32.
The World Cup Final match is set to take place at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
