Asian stock markets are trading mostly higher on Monday, following the broadly positive cues from Wall Street on Friday, with thin trading as some of the markets in the region are on a holiday. Asian markets closed mostly higher on Friday.

The Australian stock market is modestly lower on Monday, reversing some of the sharp gains in the previous session, despite the broadly positive cues from Wall Street on Friday.
