Following the relatively lackluster performance seen during last Friday's session, stocks have continued to show a lack of direction over the course of the trading day on Monday. The major averages have spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line.
Currently, the major averages are turning in a mixed performance. While the Dow is down 74.59 points or 0.2 percent at 50,957.87, the S&P 500 is up 11.12 points or 0.2 percent at 7,591.18 and the Nasdaq is up 100.90 points or 0.4 percent at 27,073.52.
