On Tuesday, BW LPG Limited (BWLPG.OL,BWLP), an oil company, reported higher profit in the first quarter of 2026, benefited by lower expenses and increased revenues from shipping.
In pre-market activity on the NYSE, shares were trading 5.56 percent higher at $20.87, after closing Monday's regular trading 0.87 percent higher.
The net profit for the first quarter attributable to equity holders skyrocketed to $164.28 million from $46.09 million in the same quarter in 2025.
Earnings per share were $1.08, compared to $0.30 per share last year.
Revenue from shipping went up to $254.39 million from $247.03 million last year. On the other hand, Revenue from product services went down to $584.50 million from $615.05 million a year ago.
Further, the company declared a first-quarter cash dividend of $0.67 per share.
