Additional Support Expected For Hong Kong Shares

The Hong Kong stock market has climbed higher in three straight sessions, rising almost 1,050 points or 4.2 percent along the way. The Hang Seng Index now sits just beneath the 26,040-point plateau and it's tipped to open in the green again on Wednesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is mildly positive on hopes for an end to hostilities in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
