Dow Rebounds To New Record High Following Yesterday's Slump

After moving notably lower in the previous session, the Dow has shown a substantial move back to the upside during trading on Thursday. The blue chip index has more than offset yesterday's slump, reaching a new record intraday high.

Currently, the Dow is just off its highs of the session, up 872.24 points or 1.7 percent at 51,559.31. The S&P 500 is also up 17.13 points or 0.2 percent at 7,570.81, while the Nasdaq is down 72.30 points or 0.3 percent at 26,781.68.
