Eutelsat Secures Multi-Million LEO Connectivity Deal With Sonangol Subsidiary Mercury In Angola

Eutelsat Communications S.A. (E3B.DE,ETL.PA,EUTLF,ETCMY) said on Tuesday that it and Mercury, a subsidiary of Sonangol Group, a telecommunications provider in Angola, have signed a new multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreement for Eutelsat's Low Earth Orbit or LEO connectivity services.

Under the agreement, Mercury, formerly known as MSTelcom, will continue expanding the reach of Eutelsat's LEO services across the country. The services will support enterprise, public sector, offshore, and telecom customers with secure, low-latency connectivity.

The deal further strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies in Angola, Eutelsat said in an official statement.

On the XETRA Exchange, E3B.DE is currently down 0.40 percent on Tuesday's trading at 2.7330 euros.
