The Hong Kong stock market has finished lower in back-to-back sessions, slumping more than 525 points or 2.2 percent along the way. The Hang Seng Index now sits just above the 24,310-point plateau and it may take further damage again on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative on concerns over the outlook for interest rates. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
