LG Electronics Inc. (066570.KS,066575.KS) announced on Monday that it added the StanbyME 2 Max to its lifestyle screen lineup, featuring a 32-inch 4K display, detachable design and up to 4.5 hours of battery playback.
LG said the StanbyME 2 Max upgrades from the previous 27-inch QHD model to a 3840x2160 resolution screen with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. The screen can mount on a wheeled stand and rotate between landscape and portrait modes.
The device targets use across living rooms, kitchens and personal spaces for streaming, video calls and productivity. It runs LG Channels and includes LG Gallery+ for art content.
LG said the StanbyME 2 Max uses its Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3 for picture and sound optimization. A built-in battery which can be recharged via the docking stand or USB-C port.
The company launched the original StanbyME movable screen in 2021. LG said it is rolling out the StanbyME 2 Max globally in phases, with availability varying by region.
On the KSE, shares of LG Electronics were gaining 0.87 percent, changing hands at 197,600.00 Korean won.
