Oruka Therapeutics, Inc. (ORKA), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing biologics for chronic skin diseases, announced on Monday the appointment of Todd Edwards as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective August 24, 2026.
Edwards brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership experience in immunology and dermatology. He joins Oruka from Arcutis Biotherapeutics, where he served as Executive Vice President and CCO and led the commercial organization for the ZORYVE franchise.
Previously, Edwards served as Group Vice President and Business Head of Immunology at Incyte, where he established a dermatology business unit and launched two dermatology therapies. He also held senior leadership positions at UCB, AbbVie and TAP Pharmaceuticals.
Oruka's Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Klein said, Edwards will support the company as it advances ORKA-001 and ORKA-002 toward commercialization.
Oruka is advancing ORKA-001 and ORKA-002 through Phase 2 development, with ORKA-001 expected to enter Phase 3 development in the first half of 2027.
ORKA closed Monday's trade at $102.42, down 5.13%. In the after-hours, the stock is trading down 0.41% at $102.
