Academy Sports And Outdoors Stock Falls On Announcement Of Partnership With Ariat International

Shares of Academy Sports and Outdoors, Inc. (ASO) are falling about 3 percent in Tuesday morning trading after the company announced a partnership with Ariat International to launch 200 Ariat in-store shops this fall.

The company's stock is currently trading at $44.50, down 3.57 percent, over the previous close of $46.15 on the Nasdaq. It has traded between $41.29 and $62.44 in the past year.

The company believes that these new in-store experiences would give customers even greater access to Ariat's most sought-after footwear and apparel.
