Power Probe plc (PWR.L), an automotive electrical diagnostic tools provider, reported lower profit in the first half of 2026, compared to the same half last year, due to lower revenue generated. Furthermore, the company issued a positive outlook for the full year and declared an interim dividend.

Profit before tax dropped by 38.7 percent to 2.79 million pounds from 4.56 million pounds a year ago.

Profit for the period decreased by 40.8 percent to 2.01 million pounds or 2.66 pence per share from 3.40 million pounds or 5.66 pence per share in the prior year.

Adjusted Profit before tax declined by 34.0 percent to 3.48 million pounds from 5.28 million pounds in the previous year.

Adjusted profit after tax went 34 percent down to 2.61 million pounds from 3.96 million pounds last year.

Adjusted EBITDA went 30.6 percent down to 3.83 million pounds from 5.54 million pounds a year ago.

Revenue declined to 17.69 million pounds from 21.20 million pounds in the previous year.

The Group remains on track with its strategy. New products launched in the first half are expected to drive growth in the second half and into 2027. Strong demand for existing Power Probe products, growth in the UK and Europe, and higher sales through automotive dealerships are also supporting performance and margins. Looking ahead, the Group sees long-term growth opportunities through new products, international expansion, and increased US manufacturing.

Furthermore, the company declared an interim dividend of 1.60 pence with an ex-dividend date of September 24, with payment to shareholders no later than October 16.

On the London Stock Exchange, the shares closed Monday's trading at 60 pence with no stock movement.
