The Beatles scored a number one hit single with their classic track “Get Back” on May 24, 1969. The track was originally released as a single with the B-side "Don't Let Me Down" and later included on their final album, “Let It Be.”When the track hit number one, it claimed the top spot from "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In" by the 5th Dimension. Henry Mancini later upended the Fab Four track with his hit single "Love Theme From Romeo and Juliet.”Paul McCartney spoke on the track’s inception in a press release for the single, saying: "We were sitting in the studio and we made it up out of thin air... we started to write words there and then... when we finished it, we recorded it at Apple Studios and made it into a song to roller coast by."
