Disney's ABC Network resurrected Roseanne Barr's lousy career, knowing full well she was riding the Trump Train's filthiest car.

Her re-boot was laden with dog whistle humor -- Archie Bunker without the wink-wink.

This was to go along with unhinged tweets from the actress herself.

Recently, Barr posted a racist tweet likening an African-American former Obama aide to an ape. Barr said that Valerie Jarrett, an African-American, was the child of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes.

Under pressure, ABC cancelled the top-rated show.

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said.

Why give a platform to nutty Roseanne in the first place? Ratings. The show was a hit before Ms. Barr went too far.

(Now a "patriot," Roseanne once grabbed her crotch and spat after butchering the National Anthem.)
