Apple first reached the $2 trillion threshold on August 20, 2020. Surging demand for smartphones pushed Apple's value from $1 trillion on August 2, 2018 to $2 trillion in just 749 calendar days, says Dow Jones.According to analysts, Apple's market capitalization could reach $3 trillion in the imminent future, driven by the development of Apple Car as well as high expectations for the next iPhone.
