Hatteras Financial Corp. (HTS) posted gains in early trade Monday and climbed further for the bulk of the afternoon. Shares closed higher by $1.54 at $30.27. Hatteras Financial Corp. broke out of a week and a half long trading range Monday and closed at a new high for the year.
