AMERIGROUP Corp. (AGP) reported second quarter EPS of $0.51 Friday morning, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.63. The company increased its full year 2009 EPS forecast to between $2.90 and $3.05, from prior expectations of $2.70 to $2.85. AMERIGROUP Corp. gapped open lower Friday and declined further in the final hour of the afternoon. The stock finished down by $3.99 at $24.68 and dropped to a 4 1/2 month low.
