Odyssey Healthcare Inc. (ODSY) reported third quarter income from continuing operations of $0.35 after the bell Wednesday, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.25. Odyssey Healthcare gapped up at the open Thursday and rose steadily until around 1:45PM. The stock finished up by $2.36 at $14.49 on the highest volume of the year. Shares broke out past resistance and closed at a new high for the year.
