Rent-A-Center Inc. (RCII) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.66 after the close Monday, up from $0.54 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.56. The company also increased its full year 2010 EPS forecast to between $2.35 and $2.55, from prior expectations of $2.30 to $2.50.Rent-A-Center gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and posted gains in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares closed up by $2.14 at $22.21 on the highest volume in over 7 months. The stock closed challenging the highs of the year, trading at over a 9-month high.
