Plexus Corp. (PLXS) Climbed To A 5-Month High After Guidance Increase

Plexus Corp. (PLXS) and Kontron AG announced Thursday morning that they intend to enter into a strategic manufacturing arrangement. The company also raised its first quarter EPS guidance to between $0.48 and $0.50, from prior guidance of $0.44 to $0.49. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.47.

Plexus Corp. rose sharply during the first 45 minutes of trade Thursday and took out the session highs in the early portion of the afternoon. The stock closed up by 2.70 at $30.29 on above average volume. Plexus broke out to a 5-month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
