Shares of Alpha Natural Resources (ANR) gapped open lower on Monday and saw further selling pressure in the afternoon. The stock closed at $55.34 down $15.00 from Friday's close.
With the more than 21% drop, the stock fell below support and crossed its 200-day moving average to set a four month closing low.
