Tuesday, Bulgaria's National Statistics Institute announced that visitor arrivals from abroad decreased 1.9% year-on-year in September to 944,688.
In September, visitor arrivals from Romania and the United Kingdom were down 41.6% and 9.4%, respectively. On the other hand, visitor arrivals from Germany, France, Poland and Greece increased significantly.
Meanwhile, the number of Bulgarian residents traveling abroad dropped 17.6% on an annual basis in September.
