Czech Consumer, Business Confidence Increase In December

Monday, the Czech Statistical Office said in a report that the both consumer and business confidence indicators increased in December.

The seasonally adjusted consumer confidence indicator increased to minus 6.8 in December from minus 8 last month. A year earlier, the indicator stood at minus 21. Similarly, the business confidence indicator climbed to minus 2.5 from minus 4.8 in the previous month.

Meanwhile, the composite indicator, which involves both consumer and business confidence indicators, increased to minus 3.3 from minus 5.4 in November.
