Unemployment rate in Greece rose to 9% in March from 8% in February, the National Statistical Service reported Thursday.
The total number of unemployed people accounted for 442,558, while economically non-actives totaled 4,287,843. Meanwhile, the number of employed people amounted to 4,494,724.
Separately, the statistical office said that the import price index rose 8.4% year-on-year in April, notably faster than 0.8% recorded in the previous year. On a monthly basis, the index climbed 1.7%.
