Berkshire Hathaway Further Cuts Its Stake In Moody's

Billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRKa, BRKB) has further reduced its stake in Moody's Corp. (MCO) by about 2%, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

Berkshire sold 794,388 Moody's shares on September 1 and September 2 at prices ranging between $26.30 and $27.74 per share, the filing shows.

In July, Berkshire had reduced its stake in Moody's by about 17% after selling nearly 8 million shares.

Berkshire currently holds about 39.22 million Moody's shares.

Berkshire Class A shares closed Friday's regular trading session at $98,000 up $150, while Berkshire Class B shares closed the day's session at $3,212, up $2.00. Moody's shares closed today's session at 24.42, up 16 cents but lost 27 cents or 1.11% in after hours trading.
