American Medical Systems (AMMD) announced after the close Monday that it agreed to sell its female sterilization assets and technology to Conceptus Inc. (CPTS) for $23.6 million.
American Medical Systems traded to the upside around mid-morning Monday and finished higher by 0.17 at $16.29. The stock is now trading higher by 0.66 on 7K shares after the bell.
