Wednesday, Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA) and its Copa Airlines and Aero Republica operating subsidiaries, reported preliminary passenger traffic statistics for September. For the month of September, Copa Holdings' system-wide passenger traffic increased 11.2% while capacity increased 7.4%. System load factor for September was 75.4%, a 2.6% point increase, compared to the year ago period.
Copa Airlines passenger traffic for September increased 10.2%, while capacity increased 8.4%. This resulted in a load factor of 77.0%, a 1.2% point increase, compared to the year ago.
Aero Republica passenger traffic for September increased 18.9%, while capacity increased 2.0%. Load factor for the month was 66.5%, a 9.4% point increase when compared to the prior year period.
