PetroQuest Energy Names Todd Zehnder COO, Bond Clement CFO - Update

Monday, PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (PQ) said it appointed Todd Zehnder as its Chief Operating Officer or COO, a newly created position. Bond Clement will replace Zehnder as Executive Vice President, CFO & Treasurer. Clement, who joined PetroQuest in October 2004, most recently served as the company's Senior Vice President-Chief Accounting Officer.

Zehnder, who joined the company in December 2001, most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. Clement, who joined PetroQuest in October 2004, most recently served as the company's Senior Vice President-Chief Accounting Officer.

PetroQuest also stated that Art Mixon, who until recently served as Executive Vice President-Exploration & Production, will now serve as its Executive Vice President-Operations & Production, while Mark Stover, until recently Executive Vice President-Corporate Development, has now been named Executive Vice President-Exploration & Development, which includes the Corporate Development function.

Charles Goodson will continue to serve as PetroQuest's Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer & President, while Daniel Fournerat will continue to serve as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer & Secretary.

PQ is currently trading on the New York Stock Exchange at $7.86, up 7.67%.
