First Solar Inc. (FSLR) reported third quarter EPS of $1.79 after the close Wednesday, which came in above the consensus estimate of $1.74. Revenues for the quarter were $480.9 million, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $528.78 million.
First Solar gapped open sharply lower Thursday and is now down 26.78 at $124.80. The stock has dropped to over a month and a half low and has fallen below its 50-day moving average.
