Monday, Wonder Auto Technology Inc. (WATG) said its third-quarter net income attributable to the company's common stockholders increased to $6.50 million from $6.35 million in the prior year period. Earnings per share attributable to the company's common stockholders remained flat at $0.24 for the quarter.
Non-GAAP net income for the quarter rose to $6.9 million or $0.26 per share from $5.5 million or $0.20 per share in the year-ago period. On average, 5 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.24 per share for the quarter.
Sales revenue for the quarter grew to $58.96 million from $39.26 million in the comparable period. Analysts estimated revenues of $57.28 million for the quarter.
Looking ahead, for fiscal 2009, the company expects to record net income attributable to the common stockholders of $23 million on sales revenue of about $208 million. Five analysts estimate earnings of $0.86 per share on revenues of $204.27 million for the year 2009.
