Tuesday, American Tower Corp. (AMT) said its third-quarter net income attributable to the company rose to $67.35 million or $0.17 per share from $60.46 million or $0.15 per share in the prior year period. On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.17 per share for the quarter.
Total operating revenues for the quarter rose to $444.10 million from $409.26 million in the comparable period. Twelve analysts estimated revenues of $430.02 million for the quarter.
American Tower said it is reaffirming its full year 2009 outlook, which it provided on July 29, 2009, citing continued strong operating performance.
