Monday, Nordic American Tanker Shipping Ltd. (NAT) said its third-quarter net loss was US$11.79 million or US$0.28 per share compared with a profit of US$42.68 million or US$1.24 per share in the prior year period.
Net voyage revenue for the quarter fell to US$17.74 million from US$67.31 million in the comparable period.
The board has declared a dividend of $0.10 per share in respect of the third quarter of 2009.
