Keith Urban has earned four nominations from the Country Music Association of Australia for its Country Music Awards. The awards show will be held January 23 at Tamworth, New South Wales.
The 42-year-old New Zealand native was nominated for best album for Defying Gravity, best male artist, best single for "Kiss a Girl," and best song for "Why's It Feel So Long."
This follows close on the heels of four nominations for Urban from the U.S. CMAs, including entertainer of the year. He took home the award with Brad Paisley for musical event of the year.
Defying Gravity is Urban's fifth studio album and was released in March of 2009. The record hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
