Torstar Corporation (TS_B.TO) announced that David Holland has been confirmed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Torstar Corporation, after holding the position on an interim basis since last May. Lorenzo DeMarchi becomes Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Holland in his previous role. Both appointments take effect immediately.
The company said that Holland, a member of Torstar's Board of Directors, has worked throughout Torstar since 1986, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2005. He has served in senior leadership positions within all divisions of the company, after beginning his career in Torstar's corporate office responsible for taxation, special projects and public reporting.
