Applied Optical Systems Prevails In Patent Infringement Lawsuit Brought By Amphenol Fiber Systems - Quick Facts

Optical Cable Corp. (OCCF) announced that Applied Optical Systems Inc., a subsidiary of the company, has prevailed in a patent infringement lawsuit brought in November 2006, by Amphenol Fiber Systems International, a subsidiary of Amphenol Corp. (APH).

The company stated that the jury determined that an Applied Optical Systems fiber-optic connector design does not infringe on FSI's U.S. Patent 6,305,849.

Optical Cable acquired Applied Optical Systems on October 31, 2009.
