Beyoncé got up close and personal with her fans in the ABC special, Beyoncé: I Am . . . Yours, which aired on Thanksgiving night.
The one-hour special saw the pop star delve into all of the hard work that went into the making of her I Am . . . world tour. The singer shared exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, as well as some rare childhood videos and footage from her summer performances at the Wynn Las Vegas.
"People don't know that these songs meant more than just the songs that are catchy," Beyoncé said. "It's my life."
The singer also got into the Thanksgiving spirit, sharing with fans exactly what she is thankful for this year.
"I'm thankful for my life, I'm thankful for my health and my family and for music and for having the best job in the world," she said.
The pop diva released her new live CD/DVD, I AM . . . YOURS: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas, earlier this week. The project features more than 30 songs from her three solo albums and days with Destiny's Child.
