Volkswagen of America, Inc., a subsidiary of Germany's Volkswagen AG, said Tuesday that its November vehicle sales rose 13.7% to 16,250 units from 14,295 units in the same month last year. November marks Volkswagen's fifth consecutive sales month above last year.
The Jetta, Volkswagen's top selling nameplate, posted strong November results with 7,957 units, a 23% increase over November 2008.
Volkswagen's four door coupe, the CC, once again performed extremely well, and posted its best sales month ever with 3,187 units, up 307.5% from a year earlier.
